The fashion industry has been shaping our collective consciousness for centuries, playing a significant role in constructing our perceptions of body size and gender norms. However, this construction has not been neutral or objective, as it has been shaped by colonial and Western-centric influences.
Providing a critical analysis of how these Western-centric epistemologies and colonial legacies present in the fashion industry have shaped the construction of size and gender norms and therefore resulting in exclusion and marginalization of individuals from a variety of cultural and social contexts, the project reviews the historical and societal factors that have contributed to the construction of these norms, including the role of colonialism, orientalism, and capitalism. Drawing on postcolonial and critical theories, it explores the impact of these norms on marginalized communities and individuals with different abilities, races, ethnicities, body sizes, and gender expressions.
The project consisted of the following elements: 23-mins performance, sound piece, a 100+ pages print, ai-generated fashion collection, fabric installation with dc motors that results in a moving centerpiece and suit design and production.

Brief: network of creatives facilitates the collaboration between creatives and clients, delivering high-quality creative solutions in the field of digital and physical experiences.
They ensure that businesses find the perfect match for their creative needs, and creatives gain access to meaningful projects without the stress of job hunting and negotiations.
A smooth interaction between both parties, providing a platform where they can communicate and collaborate effectively is one of the main goals.
Goal: develop an experience for their users (freelancers and businesses) to feel excited to join their community and trust them with job deals and opportunities. The result is a desktop and mobile version.
I worked on the front-end development for this project, and generating background icons.

This is a series of 3D renders that served as the foundational blueprints for a collection of finished, moving, and interactive installations. Each render meticulously captures the intricate details and envisioned dynamics that were later brought to life in the final projects. These initial models were crucial for understanding spatial relationships, ensuring functional design, and planning the interactive elements that engage viewers in the immersive experiences of the installations. The collection showcases the preliminary stages of creative development, highlighting the essential role these renders played in transitioning from conceptual ideas to engaging, tangible art forms.

In a world increasingly conscious of the ethical treatment of animals, the zoological parks stand as a controversial entity, often touted as educational havens while paradoxically incarcerating wildlife in unnatural habitats. One prominent yet largely underdiscussed phenomenon plaguing the animals in captivity is "zoochosis," a psychological disorder characterized by repetitive, often stereotypic behaviors.
This project sought to unveil the silent suffering of four different zoo animals by spotlighting their movements sans their physical shells, thereby challenging the traditional educational claim of zoos. Through technical innovations blending the worlds of biology and art, the project sheds light on the disturbing repetitive motions born of captivity, revealing a raw, unfiltered narrative of animal behavior in captivity, narrated by the movements themselves.

Shufa is a dj duo originally from Cairo, now based in Bremen, who are using a unique blend of techno and melodic techno with Egyptian-flavored beats. With a focus on showcasing producers from the SWANA region, they are passionate about challenging stereotypes and promoting diversity in a male-dominated industry.
Brief: Shufa wanted to provide a platform for fans to learn more about their music and connect with them as well as stay updated on their latest gigs. In the future they also wanted to start a merch, which would then be included on the website. They wanted to show their identity through the design and highlight their boldness.
Goal: create a website that is interactive, where you reach the information quickly as well as enjoy the aesthetic aspect that represents the duo’s identity and music genre.
I worked on achieving the perfect front-end development solution for this project while working hand in hand with the designer to achieve the perfect result.

In a world where marine life finds itself silenced, grappling desperately to uphold their innate behavioral patterns amidst the roaring intrusion of human activity — the surging undersea explorations, the relentless thrum of ship engines, and the piercing sweeps of sonar, the harmony of their habitats is being mercilessly disrupted. Whales and dolphins, iconic giants of the sea, are finding their intricate networks of communication severed, a tragedy that amplifies their path toward extinction.
Imagine a scenario where humanity faced a similar fate, where our means of connecting were suddenly stripped away. This installation arises from this urgent inquiry, serving as a powerful echo of their distress, reverberating with a plea — can you hear me?
As a participant, you are met with a choice, albeit a blind one, between two devices, each harboring a soundscape that narrates a part of the marine narrative; one bears the haunting calls of whales, and the other carries the cacophony of underwater noise pollution. In this soundscape duel, you are immersed in a fierce battle of frequencies, navigating the tumultuous sea of sounds that ranges from the profound depths of whale communications to the jarring dissonance of human invasion. The experience manifests as a tangible confrontation, where the devices bear witness to the invisible, yet potent energy of infrasounds generated from muscle movements, transmuting them into a symphony of the struggle for audible existence. Through this potent sensory journey, we pose a simple yet profound question, resonating with the heartbeat of marine life — can you hear me?

High Dimensional Data Narrative (HDDN) is a physical representation/data sculpture of five different data sets inspired by Wizard of Oz. In the context of climate change, the characters of the Wizard of Oz are intended as avatars for different climate events.
Taking as a compositional logic the concept of hyperobjects coined by Timothy Morton, the piece has multiple data perspectives, performed in the points where data physically clashes on the cartesian planes.
The physicality of the piece simultaneously embodies the rigid, formal representation of data as well as the flexibility of the used materials that allow the sculpture to be warped, bent, shaped, and transformed. The interpretative quality of the sculpture offers the possibility for further explorations regarding data characters, data clashes, and other speculative narratives.

Navigating the delicate equilibrium between the joyous abandon of childhood and the structured realities of adult life presents an intricate dance of duality. This photo session seeks to encapsulate that fragile balance, illuminating both the ebullient spirit of youthful playfulness and the gravitas that comes with maturity.
As we traverse the spectrum of life's stages, we are continually oscillating between moments of sincerity and bursts of spontaneous delight. Through this photographic exploration, we aspire to craft a narrative that embodies the ideal synthesis of these contrasting energies, marrying respectability with the untamed joy that resides within our inner child.
